define: Amber Avogato (avo “because avocados are life” + gato “means ‘cat’ in Spanish and Portuguese)
Howdy, and welcome! My name is Amber and I am a Nashville Native passionate about good food, exciting travels, and living a balanced life. Not only am I fond of good food but also the health & nutrition behind it, I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (based in NYC) and a Meal Prep Chef through Vibe Chefs.
When I am not cooking for clients, you can find me creating new recipes, traveling around (specifically to England several times a year), or reviewing the newest restaurant in town. I have an undergraduate degree in Marketing and use it to my advantage managing my own blog and social media accounts. In addition to all of this, I am a freelance Visual Merchandiser and work for various shops and boutiques building, creating, and managing their visual displays.
As much as I love to travel, I love calling Nashville “home,” and spending my evenings watching “Better Call Saul” or “Grace & Frankie” with my three tuxedo tomcats (Albus, Hasty Aberforth [pictured], and Bruce Wayne). In nice weather, you can find me outdoors on the hiking trail. I also love hitting a good concert pre-Covid (this is Music City, after all!)
This blog started as a platform to share my recipes but has evolved into so much more. I also am very passionate about teaching others how to live healthy with not only the nutrition their bodies consume, but what their mind consumes. I have no patience for Diet Culture and I will continue to debunk and share what educational info I have to help women and all learn to love their bodies and live their healthiest.

So put down the teatox, sis.
